We are a Type-A, Third Party Inspection Body in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accredited by NABCB (National Accreditation Board of Certification Board) for IAF Scope 37 – Education and IAF Scope 39 – Other Social Services (Sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities). We are a Certification Body appointed by the Yoga Certification Body under Ministry of Ayush to conduct assessments of Yoga Professionals for Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3. We are a Certification Body appointed by Quality Council of India to certify Medicinal Plants produce under Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Field Collection Practices (GFCP)

The Ministry of AYUSH was formed on 9th November 2014 to ensure the optimal development and propagation of AYUSH systems of health care. Earlier it was known as the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) which was created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, with focused attention for development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy

YCB – Yoga Certification Board is constituted under MDNIY (Murarji Desai National Institute of Yoga) w.e.f March 2018 to execute and implement the Scheme of Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals

The Quality Council of India (QCI) is a pioneering experiment of the Government of India in setting up organizations in partnership with the Indian industry.

The National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies provides accreditation to Certification and Inspection Bodies based on assessment of their competence as per the Board’s criteria and in accordance with International Standards and Guidelines. The Board offers accreditation to the Certification bodies and Inspection Bodies.

The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) set-up in November 2000 by the Government of India has the primary mandate of coordinating all matters relating to medicinal plants and support policies and programmes for growth of trade, export, conservation and cultivation. The Board is located in the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy (AYUSH) of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Professional Quality Management Services

VCSMPP

Under the Scheme, any producer/collector/group of producers/collectors can obtain a certification from an approved certification body (CB) and will be under regular surveillance of the certification body. An option of getting a lot inspected and certified has also been made in the Scheme. It also allows certification of intermediaries like traders who may source certified medicinal plant material and supply further.

In order to encourage good agricultural and field collection practices in medicinal plants (GAP and GFCP) and enhance quality and safety of these plants, the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), in collaboration with the Quality Council of India (QCI), has launched a Voluntary Certification Scheme for Medicinal Plant Produce (VCSMPP). QCI will manage the day to day operation of the Scheme.

GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practices. This standard covers good agricultural practices for cultivated medicinal plants in sustainable manner and maintaining quality of produce used by all stakeholders

GFCP stands for Good Field Collection Practices. This standard covers Good Field Collection Practices for wild medicinal plants in sustainable manner and maintaining quality of produce used by all stakeholders.

a) Option 1 – Individual producer/collector applies for certification and gets certification for his/her produce.
b) Option 2 – A producer/collector group applies for group certification and the producer/collector group, as a legal entity, gets certification.
c) Option 3 – The individual farmer may opt for lot wise certification model based on GAP where he/she gets certificate of conformity of the lot of produce submitted to approved certification body for inspection
d) Option 4 – An intermediate entity like a trader applies for certification of the certified medicinal plant produce for proper storage for supplies in the market or to manufacturer/processor of Ayush Products.

The fee for certification depends upon no. of herbs and options. Please fill the application form. However, following are the man days charges

Option 1:

Administrative Charges Rs.5,000/-
Manday Charges Rs.15,000/- per man day
Certification Charges Rs.15,000/-

Option 2:

Administrative Charges Rs.10,000/-
Manday Charges Rs.15,000/- per man day
Certification Charges Rs.30,000/-

The certificate for produce certification shall be for a period of 3 years from the date of decision to grant the produce certification

Surveillance evaluations of the certified sites shall be carried out at least once a year, ensuring that the gap between two surveillance evaluations does not exceed one year. The Certification Body may allow a grace period of one month based on valid grounds beyond which delays shall lead to suspension of the certificate. The surveillance should be timed around harvest time of some crop under certification

The certificate shall be revalidated at the end of every year depending on the performance of operation of certification but recertification shall be at the end of 3 years

WASH

A Scheme by Quality Council of India to help any organisation assess its preparedness to restart and run operations safely against COVID-19

-To provide a holistic report on the preparedness of an organization’s system and processes related to Hygiene & Safety with regards to COVID-19 risk
-To identify gaps, if any, so that the organization may take appropriate actions to ensure safe workplace and operations

INR 10,500/- (Rupees Ten Thousand and Five Hundred only) + GST , if the assessment is carried out within 1 man-day.
However, for certain workplaces, depending on the size and/or number of employees, it may require additional time (upto another 1 man-day) and the cost of the same may be determined accordingly. Cost of travel/conveyance and stay/accommodation as per the actual (Not applicable for remote assessment)

-The standard is applicable to any Industry/Business (Manufacturing, Service, Trade, etc.)
-Applications can be received at any juncture of Business operations, i.e. before re-start or during operations
